Mathematical Java Conference I

The Conference was held on the campus of Emporia State University on June 22-23, 2001. In addition to presentations by the workshop participants and hands-on tutorials there were four outside speakers.

Presentations:

• A Smart Polynomial Graphing Applet by Keith Brandt and Kevin Burger, Rockhurst University
• The Mathematical Visualization Project by Peter Staab, Colorado College
• Java Bioinformatics Mathlets by John Pais, St. Louis College of Pharmacy
• Using Java Applets in Teaching Calculus by David Strong, UCLA.
